The body parts of a minor girl student were recovered from a sack in a village of Khagaria. The incident took place in Kehuna village of Bahadurpur police station area located in Alauli block. The student has been identified as Khushi Kumari (17), daughter of Ranjan Paswan, resident of Kehuna village. There was panic among the local people after the dead body was found. Family members say that the girl was missing since last Saturday. On receiving information about the dead body being found, the local police reached the spot and started investigation and have taken the body into custody.

The villagers suspect that the girl was murdered because of a love affair. Bahadurpur police station chief Ajay Kumar said that investigation is being done. No information of any kind has been received yet. The girl was murdered with a sharp weapon. The body was cut into several parts and thrown away.
Dead body found in pieces, half part missing
On Monday, the girl’s body was found packed in a sack in Moosamara Chaur (farm barn), about 1 kilometer away from her house. The body is divided into many pieces. The part below the waist has not been recovered. Family members say that the deceased had left the house on Saturday. Since then she was missing and the family members came to know about it through the villager on Monday. However, the family members did not inform the police about the girl’s disappearance. The family members say that they searched for the girl at her relatives’ place but could not find her.
Fear of murder in love affair
On the condition of anonymity, a villager from Kehuna village said that the girl was murdered due to love affair. However, the police have not yet given the reason for the incident. According to the villager, prima facie the role of the family members in this incident is under suspicion.
FSL team engaged in investigation
After the incident, the police is searching for the remaining parts of the body. Besides, FSL team has also been deployed in the investigation. Alauli Sub-Divisional Police Officer-2 Sanjay Kumar said that the body was taken into custody as soon as information about the incident was received. Family members and villagers are being interrogated. Police is investigating at every point. Soon this matter will be raised and the people involved in the incident will be arrested. He said that no application has been given by the family members of the deceased.
